HTTP/3 - QUIC Support
HTTP/3 or H3 is the third major version of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol used to exchange binary information on the World Wide Web. HTTP/3 is a draft based on a previous RFC draft, then named "Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) over QUIC". QUIC is a transport layer network protocol initially developed by Google where userspace congestion control is used over User Datagram Protocol (UDP).
This feature is the future of the internet itself. I think if Runcloud will be the one of few who implement this feature first, it will be awesome.
This should be standard by now :)
Any news on this? It might be an under-the-hood improvement, but for serious agencies it´s a huge improvement.
anynews about this? this will be a lot of improvement on our web.
This is too important to not considering it. Have you got any news?
Im working with http3 and quic on litespeed right now in digital ocean and would love to see this feature in runcloud too!
This would be a must to have with OLS!!
This request is complete, right? I am using quic.cloud CDN with OpenLiteSpeed on RunCloud and it works. And passes https://gf.dev/http3-test
Hello @Bruce, do you have Cloudflare enabled on the server? I've tested and got the website HTTP/3 compliant (not QUICK compliant, just H3-29, H3-28 and H3-27), thinking this might have been (partially) resolved.
However, then I remembered to check Cloudflare and HTTP/3 was enabled there. After disabling it, the website wasn't HTTP/3 compliant anymore. Therefore, RC does not support HTTP/3 yet.
GridPane already supports it, but only for $200 customers, why not include it here as well ;)
