  Allow upload and download files. This will help users when migrating from other sites, they can upload the zip file and then unzip it

  Yes file compression would be great. I just went through moving a ton of files, sftp is just too slow. when you are talking a WP uploads folder with perhaps 1-2 images it takes forever, if we had the ability to compress it and uncompress it would make life much easier and the work would be done quicker.
