  The benefit of CSF is it allows you to allow access to the server based on not only IP address but by dynamic hostname too. We have been using CSF on other servers for about 8 years, and this added security just works. There is no reason to open a port to the whole world so one user can access it. The dynamic hostname mapping is fantastic so users on dynamic IPs (e.g. at home) can use a service like no-ip to have dynamic hostnames to still get through the server firewall. Thank you.
