Litespeed, the day it's available with Raincloud loads of people will jump over the fence. No headache for too many people stuck on Apache configurations to them migrate in clicks. Get it done on war footing priority
Yes, OpenLiteSpeed is true value bomb here. Blazing fast website at 1/xxx cost? Very nice synergy with Runcloud
Allowing OLS would be incredible and also negate those users needing a specific RC-plugin since they can rely on LS's fantastic proprietary plugin already.
I love so much if this features implement to runcloud. So we will have 3 option such as ols, apache and nginx.
This would be amazing, I'd immediately swap over to this stack.
This is by far too of my priority list; Open LiteSpeed is free, incredibly advanced and stable. If you guys could setup compatibility with LSWS/OLS and then implement the ability to move web apps + databases across from an existing server to another server (whilst also making appropriate config changes to reflect new IPs etc) then RunCloud will explode.I know many people are literally waiting for this opportunity to come from someone as migration is difficult, costly and time consuming.
Litespeed web server + Litespeed Cache plugin is one of the best solutions for hosting WordPress, we use this in our shared environment for years now and it works great.
Litespeed would be SUPERB. Please please let's see this as soon as possible!
LiteSpeed is future.
We have some very (speed) demanding clients and have to use other providers that offer Litespeed. Having this would increase our engagement with RC :)
Actually, I think this is Stack isn't so interesting as it's probably only a marginal increase in site speeds. Can you guys look at implementations for static site builders? Like Netlify? I'm really into JAMstack as that is a serious speed and user experience improver.
If you guys don't add OpenLitespeed in the next 6 months I'm canceling my subscription. Even though I like RC, the dashboard, and support, the litespeed stack and performance is too good to pass up. I've tried so many hosting providers and stacks, and nothing gives me performance like Litespeed. The downside of going with hosting companies is they charge crazy amounts for it especially if you have any traffic.Currently I'm testing Cyberpanel with Openlitespeed and the stack is amazing.
I vote for LiteSpeed web server as well, please make it happen.
I vote for litespeed too. Already implemented from other providers / systems I'm using.
Know this would create more sysadmin overhead, but the benefit and reputation of adding the LiteSpeed option would easily double the RC user base.Cyberpanel is cleaning house in this market space right now, given the growing popularity of LS and it's reputation for being faster than Varnish, NGINX in most cases, and its utilization of htaccess. Please make this happen!
I vote too up for litespeed
I love the power of Litespeed and expect it to be available on Runcloud soonl, Litespeed web server + Litespeed Cache plugin is one of the best solutions for hosting WordPress.
Ground Control to Major Tom ...
I vote too
If and when you will ad litespeed you will be the most popular in the world. Runcloud tech support and litespeed servers are a win for sure. You will be the most famous and richest in the world, trust me.
If runcloud comes up with Litespeed web server, then it will be a great option. Most of the websites are using WordPress as there CMS. Litespeed web server + Litespeed Cache plugin is one of the best solution one could have for a WordPress based website.
I have temporarily canceled my subscription and I'm moving out all my sites out of RC managed servers due to lack of OLS support. I have tested OLS + LS Cache vs Runcloud Stack + Runcache on the same provider, same location, same config, and the OLS stack performed a lot better. I really love Runcloud but website speed is important too and would definitely be back/resubscribe once the Litespeed support is in place.
Very excited to see it's planned. I've been using OLS on Cyberpanel which is beautiful but not without its own bugs. To see OLS on a mature cloud panel such as RunCloud would certainly be a dream come true. I've been recommending RC to many people but would happily recommend it even more so with OLS.
Any date we can expect to have this implemented? Most of our servers for WP are on OLS, and we cannot bring them to RC (yet).
I think everybody is checking this feature every day and waiting it like the holy grail!:)
I'm a beginner looking to set up a hosting company. I've been experimenting with 2 websites. One on shared hosting using Litespeed and a VPS using 4GB ram. The google speed results were very similar. I was trying to set up Litespeed myself but for beginners, it's not easy. Please make it one-click install with the option for advance users to fine-tune.
Can we please get a status update on this?
I nearly did not sign up because RunCloud did not offer OpenLiteSpeed. I was told by an agent there were no plans to support it. My mind was set on using OLS, even though it is a nightmare to set up. A photo heavy site measured an average of 7 seconds on GTmetrix with a regular Apache/Caching Plugin set up but 4 seconds on a CyberPanel set up with OLS. However, I gave Runcloud a trial and with their Nginx/Runcloud Hub set up it is measuring 4 seconds too. I'm no longer so obsessed about OLS.
