BertRC backups just don't cut it.
External backups to S3 & S3 compatible like Digital Ocean spaces would be the icing on the cake. This is the only feature (for me personally) that RC is missing. -

Sujoy DharThis will be the best feature which is being lacked on runcloud.
But this feature should be enabled for only the pro and not free users. -

MajeemThis is the most missing feature for me. The existing backup feature doesn't make any sense when it comes to pricing. Ability to backup to and restore from external sources would be a great addition to RunCloud.

TRONAgreed. RunCloud's backups need an overhaul. They're expensive and hard to use. Once you have 20+ sites, the UI becomes a total mess. The way their prepaid credit-based billing is structured, you don't realize how expensive it is until you sit down after a month and add it all up. I came out at around $0.90/month per site running a single backup every 2 weeks with only 30-day retention. For example, you can get daily backups for $1.70/month/site from ManageWP with the option to use your own S3.

PraThe whole point of backups is that in case of an outage, we can bring up the website on another service provider.
The current situation is compelling us to have two backup systems, one with RunCloud and then also independently manage another one.
If possible, please implement this feature, as you can see it has the maximum votes already. -

Goce RistovBackup to FTP/SFTP is a must as well! If you want to provide full freedom to your users that is.
